On Wednesday, October 29, 2014, Tom Labonge (CD4) announced the month of November as Alzheimer Awareness month. Alzheimer affects many people throughout the world and is the most common form of dementia. There are over 5 million people living with Alzheimer’s in America, and there is no cure for it. On top of this, it is the most expensive disease our country and our families have encounter. In November 2014, recognition will be raised for support, care and research regarding this disease.
