In 1984, the series of
Li'l Abner theatrical cartoon shorts produced by Columbia Pictures and Screen Gems were selected to be colorized by Fred Ladd's colorization company Entercolor Technologies Corp., where the cartoons would be colored through the "redrawn and colorized" process.
Strangely enough, the Li'l Abner cartoons were already produced in color, while the majority of the other series of cartoon shorts selected for colorization were originally produced in black and white.
This short, named "Sadie Hawkins Day" (originally made in 1944, but redrawn and colorized in 1984) is the only one of the redrawn shorts for the series to be currently found online.
