The logbook of the ship Polynesia details a voyage from New York to San Francisco (Apr. to June 1856). It includes diary entries. Home port was Boston; owner was James Hunnewell; master and log keeper was Joseph Warren Perkins. It is a daily log describing wind, weather, location, shipboard occupations, and disorderly conduct. Bound with the bark Three Brothers.
