This album, entitled "Majesty", was Ron Kenoly's 6th release for Integrity Music and one of two albums (along with Don Moen's "God is Good: Worship with Don Moen") recorded at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA in 1998 (interestingly; it's unlikely that this would have been possible prior to the mid-1990s. Liberty was founded by Thomas Road Baptist Church {and later, Moral Majority} founder Jerry Falwell and Elmer Towns; and was founded as part of the Baptist Bible Fellowship International, an independent fundamental Baptist denomination which split from the Southern Baptists around 1950 due to feeling that denomination was starting to compromise on issues such as Biblical inerrancy; and for most of its first two decades of existence Liberty rejected any prospective students that believed that the sign gifts {specifically, speaking in tongues - a view commonly held by Pentecostal/charismatic Christians} were still in effect {most of Integrity's artists apparently have Pentecostal or charismatic backgrounds; this also caused a fair amount of head-scratching during Falwell's brief time in charge of the PTL network in 1987 after the sexual and financial scandals that led to Jim Bakker's ouster}; a prohibition Liberty abandoned in the early 1990s; and that was largely because Liberty was drowning in debt at the time and was seeking relief from the state of Virginia)
Unlike most of the live albums from Integrity; this release has a clear-cut theme; namely Jesus as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords
