Bosko is an animated cartoon character created by Hugh Harman and Rudy Ising in 1927 and the first recurring character in the Leon Schlesinger cartoon series Looney Tunes. Whereas Disney masked Mickey by making him a mouse, Harman and Ising made Bosko a genuine black boy. Keeping with the...

One of the first cartoons made dedicated for the early TV market. In the 1960's animation was an expensive precess costing up to $2,500 a minute to produce. Space Angel cartoons were mostly storyboads where the only movement was the mouths of the characters(Syncro-Vox system). This animation style was similar to Clutch Cargo Cartoons! Space Angel was the code name of Scott McCloud, an agent for the Earth Bureau of Investigation. Devoted to the security and welfare of the solar system, McCloud...

This theater was created in honor of the voice actors and actresses that made Betty Boop Carttons. This is a copy of a DVD I had that I found on one of my dumpster diving expeditions. It was a homemade job with Betty Boop cartoons. copies of World War II stamps for use in getting victory bonds, postcards, and other material. Thanks to whoever dumped it.

"No planet was safe!" There are two ways to appreciate these movies. The first is to have a full, open bottle of bourbon in hand while viewing them. The second is to appreciate the freaky, random confluence of events that brought them into being. The first thing to appreciate is that South Korea embargoed foreign movies, especially animation, for a lengthy period of time. This meant that not only was there a dearth of programming for SK TV, it also meant that native studios could rip...

The first Baby Huey cartoon - see also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_Huey From The Public Domain Movie Database: Baby Huey is disliked by all the other ducklings because of his large size and super strength. His strength has caused problems in the past, but ends up saving the day when a fox comes around looking for something to eat.

Felix takes a trip on a boat and ends up in the Netherlands! While there, he falls in love and tries to court a young lady, only to enrage the young man already after her. This cartoon contains lots of Dutch stereotypes (such as wooden shoes, windmills, etc.) as was common in many cartoons of the period. You can find more information regarding this film on its IMDb page .

As a follow-up to the successful project Orangeâs âElephants Dreamâ, the Blender Foundation initiated another open movie project. Again a small team (7) of the best 3D artists and developers in the Blender community have been invited to come together to work in Amsterdam from October 2007 until April 2008 on completing a short 3D animation movie. The team members will get a great studio facility and housing in Amsterdam, all travel costs reimbursed, and a fee sufficient to cover all expenses...

"The Great Depression has hit a rundown farm owned by a Farmer Alfalfalike farmer. As the old man sleeps on his porch, objects around him begin to break down. /.../ Just then saxophone salesmen Tom and Jerry happen by the farm. The farmer is indifferent to their music ("Aw, nuts!"), so the duo decide to show him how useful saxophones can be. Their jazzy tunes soon have the farmer's chickens laying eggs, his cow churning out milk, and his woodpeckers chopping wood to the beat. The...

These nine prints are sharper and brighter than the existing IA copies, and they are in the correct aspect ratio of their original theatrical releases.

These are the classic Terrytoons cartoon characters Heckle and Jeckle. Hope you all enjoy them. These was shown quite often on Steamboat Bill and later Mr. Cartoon. Thanks out there all you cartooners and Jule Huffman Fans. Thanks for the memories.
