This clip is an extract from "Combat America", Part 4 (1945) and shows the bombing of Northern Germany during World War II in colour. The narrator is Clark Gable. Extract by Eva Vikström, August 2007. - The reason for uploading this clip was this question: Could the Nazi regime have been stopped without this heavy bombing, without the enormous suffering of civilians? This is a clip of the Hydrogen Bomb test at Enewetak Atoll on November 1, 1952, and the first time one was exploded. The fireball was big enough to cover most of Manhattan Island. This clip show more of the aftermath of the nuclear cloud than do most films.
