Also contains. The keeper writes often about the repairs the crew made to the vessel and whaleboats during the voyage. The crew celebrated Christmas Day in 1884 and 1885 with special feasts. One man was discharged on 4 October 1885 after seeing a doctor in Angola (Africa). The keeper reported a scurvy outbreak in March 1886. The crew found stowaways on 31 March 1886 and 2 April 1886. Whaling grounds include the Carroll, Saint Helena, Pigeon, and Tristan grounds.
