Noel has been coming to the bar for about 15 or 16 years. He's 77 years old and stares into his peanuts all night, never saying anything. He doesn't talk much but he's mentioned old flames a time or two. Days gone by, loves long lost. This one's for Noel. He drinks 7 and 7 and Burgie beer if anyone wants to buy the tender heart a round. It's an old tune, one of my father's favorites.
