Summer is in full swing and the mosquitoes aren't cutting any us any slack. Its important to know that the City of North Richland Hills takes steps throughout the year to stop mosquitoes from breeding, but the responsibility ultimately falls on our residents.

Make sure you apply mosquito repellent that contains DEET to all uncovered parts of your body prior to going outside. Also, try to remove any stagnant water around your property, because mosquito need water to breed and it doesn't take much. Lastly, if at all possible avoid going being outside at dusk and dawn. Mosquitoes are most active at those time.
