Includes author's "Descrizione d'un gravicembalo col piano, e forte ; aggiunte alcune considerazioni sopra gli strumenti musicali," describing the newly invented fortepiano, illustrated with an engraving of the hammer mechanism that differentiated it from its predecessor, the harpsichord (p. 309-315). Errors in pagination: p. 91 misprinted as 61, 170-175 as 180-185, and 376 as 316.
T.p. of 1st issue (dated 1783) used with this 2nd issue, probably 1784 (ASMI 131A); imprint information also suggested by ASMI 131A.
