The Baker-Polito Administration announced the awarding of $12.6 million in grants for support local planning and shoreline management efforts. The Executive Office of Energy & Environment Affairs and Office of Coastal Zone Management provided funding. On September 19, 2022, to kick off Climate Week a press conference was held on the Plymouth waterfront to announce a $1.8 million grant to the Duxbury Beach Reservation and $2 million to the Town of Plymouth for Beach Restoration and Nourishment.
