Letter dated September 28, 1950 from James Flynn, City Tax Collector for Peabody, to Mr. S. Howard Donnell. The letter states that the taxes for the year 1949 needed to be paid by October 10, 1950 in order to avoid other changes. The balance due is $33.05 that the Peabody Community House needed to pay.

Because the Peabody Institute Library was a separate institution from the City of Peabody the Library was required to publish an annual report. The report, usually, included the names of the Trustees; names and titles of library staff; a letter from the Library Director; statistics from the previous year and the operating budget of the Library. This report is the 30th annual report for the year 1882.
