Random cassette find: Answering machine tape

Random tape that I found at a local goodwill. Hard to date but interesting nonetheless.

From the context clues, I think this person lived in NYC. Had a lot of friends, and likely was a train operator for the subway. How it wound up 100 miles away is a mystery to me.

Do NOT call any numbers heard on the tape, obviously.

The tape was an old Sanyo compact cassette with the 60s/70s compact cassette logo.
