Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera first made their claim to fame with the cat and mouse due Tom & Jerry while still working for MGM. It was not until 1958 that they reintroduced a cat and mouse cast of characters to a series with Pixie & Dixie and Mr. Jinks. Only now there were two mice causing trouble for the resident house cat: a blue bow tie wearing mouse named Pixie, and his friend Dixie who wears a red vest.
Unlike the Tom & Jerry cartoons however, all three members of the Pixie & Dixie cast spoke. Mr. Jinks' mouse chasing repertoire was also less frenetic than Tom's had been. Mr. Jinks' had a laid back, confident disposition that signaled he knew he would, like catch the "meeces" in his own good time.
Although most stories took place in a residential home, occasionally Mr. Jinks had employment in some sort of profession that required him to deal with a bow tie vest wearing rodent problem.
Pixie & Dixie and Mr. Jinks was one of the three segments on the half-hour show The Huckleberry Hound Show, airing in 1958. The other seven-minute segments include Huckleberry Hound and Yogi Bear. The cat and mouse trio made appearances in subsequent Hanna-Barbera ensemble series after their own series ended, but failed to achieve the same level of notoriety as many of their cartoon contemporaries.
NOTE: 44 - Kind to Meeces Week is the one episode that is not yet episode complete. A fellow account member tuskacz just notified me that the video was only 3-mins short, which has occured to me. I had searched everywhere for the same video and have found that most other cartoon websites have done something very wrong with the video there.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find the same video throughout the other websites they had there is available. I owe my sincere apologies to the Archive Member, tuskacz, and everyone else who finds that video incomplete. So should any else has the same, right video that is 7-mins. long, please forward it over to me and I will definitely reupload it to resolve the problem. Thank you everyone.

Subject: Less-Than-Stellar Quality.
While it’s nice to see the cartoons here, they’re just not in the best quality (granted, that’s more of a fault with Warner).
For instance, 19 - King-Size Surprise is a TV-Rip (despite the cartoon being released on DVD) while 32 - Heavens To Jinksy is almost unwatchable due to the DVD-Rip seeming to have a poor transfer.
Nearly all of these episodes are available in better quality in Italian and Polish, though they both have their own quirks (TL;DR: Both are in the PAL format, neither are in English, Polish cuts out the intros and outros, Italian translates the title cards and is missing episodes 12 - Jinks The Butler and 30 - Lend-Lease Meece). They both also have 44 - Kind To Meeces Week in their respective languages.
Overall, these cartoons are good, but the quality of the video isn’t up to match. Bummer, since the Quick Draw McGraw ones (Quick Draw and Augie Doggie; not Snooper, though) are in a decent quality for shows that aren’t on DVD.
One last thing, I can give you the Italian and/or Polish links to 44 - Kind To Meeces Week (they’re the full cartoon), as well as good quality for every single Huckleberry Hound cartoon, just let me know beforehand :)
RE: It shouldn’t take too long to download the Secret Squirrel files, but it will to crop the cartoons up to half-hour episodes. The Pixie & Dixie is in Italian (and another version of the same episode is in Polish), yes, but it’s there if you want it (tell me soon, though, so I can remove it from the MEGA).
I personally rather have the full cartoon in another language instead of part of it in English, but that’s just me (hope the Lost Media Wiki finds it so we can have a complete collection).
The Huckleberry Segment + Secret Show files are there because most sites use TV-Rips for these shows, so I’d hope you use these to your advantage :)
Also, the e-mail lied. The Secret Squirrel episodes are in 540P like the Italian Pixie & Dixie episodes.
