A few rounds of “friendly” boxing to Kick-Off the Pink Patch Project, a public awareness campaign to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease. The project is a collaborative effort between the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs’ Association and public safety agencies in Los Angeles County and beyond. The Pasadena Police Department has partnered to combat breast cancer by raising public awareness about the importance of early detection in the fight against the disease and to raise funds for breast cancer research and treatment.
