Black Academy Review was a quarterly journal first published in 1970 by Black Academy Press Inc. The review was an interdisciplinary publication devoted to the defense and edification of the black civilization. It published articles on major issues as well as literary and semi-technical essays dealing with various facets of the black civilization in Africa, the West Indies and the Americas.Articles included literary, social, scientific, and political works by major scholars and artists. 


Black Academy Review ceased publication in 1974. 


The Internet Archive collection contains microfilm published between 1970 and 1974.
