Family & Community Health is an active peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. Launched in 1978, it publishes research and information on health disparities and health inequity among marginalized and vulnerable populations.
Each issue features original articles, review essays, short reports, commentaries, and perspectives that focus on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of disease and illness toward the goal of health equity for all populations. Published papers cover a number of disciplines and employ quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, and systems science to elevate policy-relevant research and practice that acknowledges the roles of social networks, families, and communities in regards to health. Occasional special-focus issues and themed supplements are dedicated to a particular topic of interest.
The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1978 and 2013.
