Journal of Teaching in Social Work is an active peer-reviewed scholarly journal currently published 5 times a year by Taylor & Francis. Launched in 1987, it publishes the latest research, innovations and practice in social work education.
Each issue features original articles that focus on the teacher, the teaching process, the learner, and the learning process, as well as new contexts of teaching, and educational methods and techniques. The journal particularly encourages papers covering field work teaching; in-service training; teaching aids and technologies; and policy concerns that have an impact on the educational process. It also contains reviews of new literature relevant to the field. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest.
