DESCRIPTION

Land Economics is an active peer-reviewed academic journal published quarterly by the University of Wisconsin Press. Launched in 1925 by American economist and founder of the American Economic Association (AEA) Richard T. Ely (1854–1943), it publishes research on the economics of natural and environmental resources.

Each issue features original conceptual and empirical research articles that cover policy implications. Published papers explore a range of topics, including environmental quality, natural resources, public utilities, housing, urban and rural land use, transportation, and other areas in both developed and developing countries. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest.

The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1925 and 2015.
