Vintage Yiddish Talmudism (Reviewer)
Ignore Seth’s vitriolic anti-Catholic hatred from the previous rant. This is worth watching. Any movie that inspires a Yid to perspire, is a film worth watching. No amount of kvetching from this shlub could have dissuaded me from enjoying this film.

George Raft gets religion.
No, it's not a comedy. Vintage Hollywood Catholicism, as Virginia Mayo and the police beg a righteously vengeful Raft to stand aside so God can take care of business Himself - which He does with the aid of the screenwriters, and presumably without resort to the production code. Not quite as bad as it sounds, but still period kitsch.
