Understanding 9/11Welcome to White City Elementary, home of the Roaring Wildcats in White City, Florida. At over 75 years old, White City Elementary is a pillar of the community. White City is a Community Partnership School, and a Kids at Hope School Super School.
The Staff of White City Elementary work hard to provide a positive, nurturing learning atmosphere for all students. The classrooms are warm, inviting and students are challenged as they engage in rigorous, standards-based instruction. Teachers use student achievement data to make all instructional decisions. Staff members provide guidance and support as students create, investigate, summarize, predict, problem solve, and use their critical thinking skills.
Students of White City enjoy participating in daily Meet Up Circles to build classroom relationships. Students visit Art, Physical Education, and Media resource every week. All students are provided opportunities to participate in hands-on science labs and a variety of literacy activities each day.
Technology integration is key at White City. Every student has a laptop to use in the classroom. Each classroom has an Audio Visual System, which allows students to experience the best of the internet, conduct research, and use online learning tools to deepen their understanding of content.
Parents, Community Partners, and Business Partners of White City meet monthly to discuss school improvement goals and strategies for success. We promise to equip every student with the knowledge, skills, and desire to succeed in a safe, loving, supportive, and fun environment.
The Wildcats of White City Elementary take pride in their school. Students host the daily morning show, serve as student patrols, and beautify the campus. When students demonstrate respect, safety, and responsibility, ROAR behavior, reward points. Students use their reward points to attend special events like Sports Day, Pumpkin Painting, BINGO, and the school dance.
Students are recognized for their math, science, writing, reading, language arts, social studies, and citizenship every nine weeks. White City Elementary is a Premier Academic Center of Excellence.
