Welcome to Manatee Academy, home of the Mighty Manatees in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Here at Manatee Academy our classrooms provide an educational atmosphere that is focused on engaging students in all areas of the curriculum. High expectations are met through differentiating the instruction and concentrating on individual student needs. Our amazing staff is highly qualified and uses research-based strategies to implement a rigorous academic environment for all students.

Our students are deeply engaged in extra-curricular activities that include, Honor Society, 4H, recognized Band, and Chorus programs.

We are proud of our ever growing and popular intermural sports program that includes, Track & Field, basketball, volleyball, flag football, and soccer. We believe strongly in building our community partnerships and instilling in our children the importance of giving back to our community, providing community service opportunities for students to participate in - such as save the chimps, and supporting food drives for the local food banks.

We are elated that we are nationally recognized award winners, project citizens, history fairs, and science fairs.

Currently students in grades 6-8 can participate in our veterinary program that provides blended classroom instruction with lab applications. This program focuses on small mammal husbandry, implementation of technology, large animal breeds, and introductory genetics.

Strong community partnerships allow students the opportunity for hands on experiences with local animal rescue facilities.
