The Snooper & Blabber series was one of three segments in Hanna-Barbera's second half-hour cartoon show, Quick Draw McGraw. Snooper & Blabber starred Super Snooper and Blabber Mouse, a cat and mouse private eye team that parodied the detective shows of of the day, Snooper talked in the terse manner of Jack Webb on Dragnet ("Just the facts, ma'am), and Blabber talked with an equally terse lisp. These segments were responsible for the introduction of Snagglepuss, who would eventually star in his own segments on The Yogi Bear Show.
Snooper & Blabber ran for three seasons. After new production stopped, the 45 episodes were rerun on CBS's Saturday morning from 1963-66, once again in tandem with Quick Draw McGraw.
After their run with Quick Draw ended, Snooper and Blabber occasionally turned up in ensemble productions such as Yogi's Treasure Hunt, along with other retired Hanna-Barbera characters. As recently as the 1990s, the cat and mouse turned up as guest stars in the "Super Secret Squirrel" segment of 2 Stupid Dogs.
