the silence before hell on earth
The majority of these people soon died a horrifying death, torn in pieces, burned alive, women and girls raped and slaughtered. Hundreds of years of built civilization shattered from the face of earth by the Bolsheviks and the British and American pawns of the same Masters - an indescribable genocide. Owning the printing press can write any history you want for mass brainwashing.
As to the Greek reviewer aside (if Greek really): you should be most grateful that you dealt with the incomparably more civil Germans than with the Bolsheviks who would have otherwise taken over your country too along with the East and erase generations.

Summer time and the living is easy...
Always interesting to see such calming propaganda films... Berliners had a wonderful time while the amounts that Greece had to pay to its conquerors at the same time were the highest per capita in occupied Europe and reached 113.7% of the country's GDP. In May 1941 all available, vital goods and industrial products were confiscated and sent to Germany. By law 108/1941 of the occupying government of Tsolakoglou, the German state was released from any obligation to compensate. The following year, in fact, until the law 1586/1942, Greece compensated the German citizens "for all their reasons due to the military operations ... on Greek state territory, caused or caused damage". About one million gold pounds, coming mainly from the Jewish community of Thessaloniki, were sold at degrading prices in Germany through the Bank of Greece. Businesses that refused to accept the Germans as "partners" were closed and their mobile parts were sent to Germany.
