My bro gave me a tour of his ship after we met in SF for the weekend; the aircraft carrier a huge ship. Since he was on it and family, I got a special tour with my son. It amazed me the cramped space 5000+ people in a floating city live and do all this while protecting our butts. Very dangerous sitting out in the ocean if anyone knows about the Russian sub incident with the carrier, you can relate. Thank God for American soldiers and their service because without them we'd be speaking German, Japanese or Russian now.

I forgot about the description when i watched this finally away from the description.. If you did that, you would think that this was a celebration of the British Navy! It could be, but according to this, this was a protest. Against what? British ships in American waters?? Curse the british! Let's bring back 1812!

Unfortunately, this short clip about the presence of the Bay Area Peace Navy (BAPN) at 1993 Fleet Week is so short it only shows the Navy shots - nothing about the local resistance to this celebration of imperialism. The BAPN is currently processing its own archives, and hopefully the full video (not yet digitized) will be available - check at www.docspopuli.org
