Excellent
This is a sequel to the movie Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (1948).
The script is excellent and quite funny. The writers may have actually asked a farmer about what problems are associated with growing hay.
The familiar character actors Will Wright and Frank Ferguson play a farmer and the fire chief, respectively.
Blandings' troubles begin when he tries to find a buyer for his 10 acres of hay.
A quote from Mr. Blandings: "Ever since I bought this place, nothing is right. No matter what I do, it fights me. I shouldn't have signed a mortgage; I should have signed a non-aggression pact."

MacDonald Carey Good In Light Comedy
A good cast headed by MacDonald Carey and Phyllis Thaxter make this an entertaining light comedy. The supporting cast was good.
