Today’s guest is Senator Diana DiZoglio who is a candidate for Massachusetts State Auditor and the current State Senator for Massachusetts’ First Essex District. That is a district due North of us on the New Hampshire line. It includes the Cities of Amesbury, Haverhill, Methuen and Newburyport. Diana had been a State Rep from 2012 to 2018 when she won her first bid for the State Senate. Prior to that Diana worked as chief-of-staff to Edward A. Kelly, president of the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts (PFFM). She also served as a legislative aide in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, worked for multiple non-profit organizations and was a small business owner.
Diana, who is the daughter of a single mom, went to public schools and community college before she earned a financial scholarship to Wellesley College.
