These are film holders for scanning with a dslr or mirrorless camera with a macro lens. A phone or light table and a repro stand are needed to complete your set-up. The curved film path keeps the film stable and flat at the film gate of the adapter.
This was printed in PLA 0.2mm layer height at 200 degrees with a heated bed at 60 degrees. Calibrate your e-steps for this print as the film path is narrow and overextrusion will clog it up.
Make sure to put the Z-seam left or right, so that the film path is printed in a single conitinuous motion without stops. This helps to ensure that the film will move through smoothly.
You need to print 2 copies of a design and then bolt these together with m6 or m8 bolts.
Printing times depend on your print speed bu vary from roughly 6-10h per half.
