After the success of the original Mego 2-XL in the early 80s, the toy company Tiger decided to bring it back in early 90s. The Tiger 2-XL used compact cassettes split into four mono programs, rather than the 8-track tapes of the original. It mostly consisted of educational games and "Choose Your Own Adventure" stories.

Once again, 2-XL leaves the narration to an unknown narrator. This one follows the classic story of the original "Jurassic Park". We get the computer system failing, the electric fences shutting off, and the attempted sale of the dinosaur embryos. However, you are allowed to make different choices to change the outcome. For example, if the competing company gets the dinosaur embryos, you get an epilogue of how the other company started selling miniature dinosaurs as pets. But then, the dinosaurs somehow got big anyway and the world was overrun. It does not appear that the actors from the movie voiced the characters in this version.
