Script by Sam Sheppard who apparently split himself in two forming the main characters here. One interpretation.
This is a film brilliantly acted, extremely physical; at times quietly intimate, at times violently angry. Adolescent humor throughout.
Depicts secret desires, envies and resentments between brothers who grew up together in upper- middle class California suburbia, went separate and very diverse ways, and came together again to share a night of sustained madness.
