Weather or not anyone's prepared THIS time - It's the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and there is a major storm brewing in the Caribbean and it might turn into a hurricane headed towards the Gulf of Mexico. If it does... suspect MAJOR disruption to the Gulf oil drilling operations.
Monsoons and flooding have wiped out most roads into and out of Nepal from the Chinese uplands. Eastern India is also affected with a couple of thousand homes swept away, and Bangla Desh may go under water it the weather continues.
Considering we told them to do it... The US and Pakistan's military are consulting about Taliban and rebel offensives on the Waziristan-Afghanistan border and the Autonomous Tribal Zone.
The US is saying that it WASN'T 90 people killed, and it WASN'T mostly women and children, in an airstrike near Helmand province Afghanistan.
The Dali Lama of Tibet is in the hospital for stomach pains and it's not believed to be a serious illness.
