santa rosa and san francisco. but, you know, we were enjoying some warmth earlier in the week but today struggling to hit the low 80s. that should be the average. and struggling to hilt the 70s in our south bay. an unseasonably strong cold front that's through the north coast right now. we've got moisture through i-80. this is providing the windy conditions and cold temperatures for today. continues to sink south and we'll get in on the tail end of this system. as we do, this cooler air mass will encompass the bay area for the weekend. but after that, we get on the back side of it, we gain a few degrees each and every day and get back to normal by next week. here's the way things are gonna play out. pockets of clouds today but then through the overnight hours, we could see a couple hundreds of an inch of rain san mateo coast, even mountain view through tomorrow morning. with the rain we could see a slight chance of showers in the sierra nevada. the higher elevations looking like snow from 8500 feet to 9,000 feet.
