kraig. >> reporter: yeah, pam. two days ago two men entered a home here in the 400 block, beat a woman and burglarized her home. police say it happened on the 400 block of poor to will and us bell will. monday around 4:30 two men knocked on the door of the home. no one answered so at least two of the men went around to the back of the house and got in through a sliding back door. police say the woman confronted the suspects but they quickly overpowered her and forced her to sit down. the men then stole jewelry and drove off in a light green suv. police checked the area and even got assistance from the san mateo county sheriff's office but found no suspects. they did however get a description of two of those suspects. they developed composite sketches of two of the three men. two men who entered the home described as hispanic men in their 30s. i've already spoken to some neighbors here this morning. everybody is well aware of what happened around here. and at least talking amongst themselves about it. i'm going to c

hi, sal. >> hey, pam. we do have a serious problem already westbound 80 getting out to the macarthur maze there is a crash here. it's an overturned vehicle. people are out of the car, but fire crews are on the way. this is on the connector ramp from west 80 to southbound 880. and looks like chp just stopped there and is going to block that ramp. i just saw that car there. all of a sudden going to be diverted onto eastbound 580. this is a developing situation here on westbound interstate 80. you will not be able to get directly on the southbound 880 as you can see. they have just blocked that ramp. so give yourself plenty of time. just go around. use 980 instead. the fire crews are on the way. this accident just happened. it's going to be there for just a little bit because there's a car that's overturned there. looks like they're looking for someone. there's guys with flashlights around there. i'm not sure what they're looking for but we'll let you know. let's go out and take a look at westbound bay bridge

let's go back to the dave and pam. >>> all right. thank you, sal. a heated debate over whether to fund two oakland gang injunctions stretched into the early morning hours. ktvu's claudine wong joins us now with the decision that was narrowly approved by the city council. claudine. >> reporter: well, pam, that decision came just after midnight inside council chambers here at city hall. the council basically agreed to do two things. one they agreed to keep funding going for the city's two injunctions. and two, they agreed to have an independent evaluation done to see if those injunctions are actually effective. >> council member can han and president reid being the four is and three nos with brooks, kaplan and adell voting no and browner recused. it passed. >> reporter: this is an issue that sparked a lot of passion. 200 people showed up to debate this issue overnight. there are two in place. one in north oakland with 15 people on the list and one in the fruit vale district with about 40 people on that list. the list establishes curfews and safe zones
