in north berkeley. the cause is still not known. and still not known when they're going to be able to get the lights back on. we also spoke with the berkeley police department. they say this is mostly a residential area. north of university. south of gillman. and fortunately, it is not affected any major intersections in the area. but if you do come to an intersection with the streetlights out, of course treat it as a four-way stop. we are also following an accident on the upper deck to the bay bridge. they were doing some road work, where it was blocking a couple of lanes that may still be out there. now, this accident was reported right before you get to treasure island. and we are seeing some slowing on our sensors right now, coming up the incline. so expect some minor delays. once you get past the tunnel, and past treasure island, traffic flows by all the way into san francisco. so right now we are seeing slight delays. lower deck traffic, that looks great. more traffic in a bit. in the meantime, back to you. >> guys, thanks muc

i was a political science major at uc-berkeley. i actually enjoyed studying maps and political demographics and a always had a passion for how folks get represented in these communities and the importance of redistricting and having fair minded folks who can take into account community feedback. my interest specifically in this position, why this redistricting commission and why this year, is that in my time in san francisco, i've worked almost exclusively at the tenderloin housing clinic, working as a community organizer color and managing editor of the on-line web site. district 6 more than any other district will be changed more by this map. district 6 has to lose over 20,000 people. you need someone at the table of this commission is intimately familiar with that community and who can make sure the district gets a fair shot. but it's not just about district 6. if you look at this map, the population changes have not been uniform. the three districts that will have to shrink our six, 10 and 11. that means all the other districts

there are cases not all related as far as i can tell speaking to the outbreak in berkeley. things were very well run. the camp is taking extra precautions in terms of urging all of the guests to use hand sanitizer, the kitchen staff is taking extra precautions and it is probably safer now than it has ever been. i want to make sure the public knows and those campers who have signed up for the coming weeks, they have nothing to worry about. every precaution is being taken. it was a little bit on the chilly side for this time of year, but otherwise the streams were spectacular. there are waterfalls everywhere. i would encourage my fellow commissioners to go up and have a look. the camp is beautiful with all of the water. everything is green. there was a late spring fall which turned all of the grass and leaves green, which is a change from the last six times i've been up there, where it was largely yellow because of the drought conditions. i think you would really enjoy it. the campus very well-run and i want to allay any concerns people may have generated from that article. t

she was a graduate of pomona college and the university of california, berkeley. she valued for work and education and had a special passion for helping disadvantaged children pursuing an education regardles of their race, gender, or religion. she dedicated herself to education and the benefit of society. also we're closing in memory of david westin. >> thank you. what i have here is not an official memorial. i wanted to share a few thoughts from some teachers and students of mr. david westin's. he went into teaching later in life and that is an interesting perspective when someone starts teaching after 35. they have done a lot of living and decided they want to teach now and that is david westin's road and he spent 12 years as a teacher at their good marshall perfecting -- thurgood marshall in mathematics and science. in my time in 2000 through 2004, he rode his bike through the city before was fashionable. this is an example that grownups can ride their bike to school and not guzzle gas as adults and i get a lot of disinformation also in here from a former thurg
