now, down to the south, we continue to see some areas of heavy rain and those will be tracking to the north-northeast as well as the morning continues to progress. earlier this morning, there was some thunderstorm activity down to the south as well. at the very least, there was a spot of heavy rain there. now, let's take a look at the entire region and what we're seeing is the rain showers, the cloud cover, there are some gaps in the cloud cover well down to the south but we'll certainly be under clouds all day today. i don't think there will be sunshine, maybe tomorrow, some rays of sun. there is a frontal boundary out to the west. let me tell you about that. i'll show you the surface map. right now, we are caught between two systems. we've got the stationary front that we told you about yesterday, area of low pressure riding up along that. that is all the precipitation that we see moving to the north and then with that cold front, that comes through here tomorrow and that will bring with it some rain showers that will trigger more rain for friday here and there off and on during the course of the d
