i'm michelle griego. >> hi, everyone. i'm frank mallicoat. nearly 5:30 now on this friday. >>> new this morning, some huge flames could be seen from a burning building. this is in martinez early this morning. i actually saw the fire on my way to work, pulled over and shot the video from that shell station across the street. the fire started shortly after 3:00 at a building on a car lot on pacheco boulevard near peach street and shell avenue located about a quarter mile away from the refinery. the shell refinery. we have a crew that's headed that way right now. we are going to bring you the latest information as soon as we get it. >>> a deadly hit-and-run in a san francisco city park kills a mother sunbathing in the park with her 11-month-old. witnesses say the park's gardener was the driver. it happened in holly park at bernal heights at 2 p.m. yesterday. witnesses say a city maintenance truck drove off the paved pathway headed right towards the woman. they say many yelled at the driver be he didn't stop. neighbors say they have had problems

. >> i'm michelle griego. three people are now dead in severe flooding in colorado. this is video of a rescue in boulder county. torrential rain is causing havoc from fort collins to colorado springs. roads are washed out. homes flooded. and hundreds of people have been forced out of their homes. a handful of drivers had to be rescued from rising floodwaters. as cbs reporter rick sallinger tells us, one dramatic rescued played out on live tv this morning. >> reporter: tree drivers near boulder -- three drivers near boulder, colorado had to be rescued after floodwaters washed out the road. the vehicles plunged into a fast-moving creek. >> they rescued two people. >> reporter: kcnc aired the dramatic rescue live. rescue workers used an inflatable raft to get to one man trapped inside his car that was upside-down and partially submerged. they broke the window so he could breathe and gave him a life jacket. crews opened the door and dragged little to land. all three drivers are okay. >> they were all able to be rescued and sent to local hospitals with minor injuries, jus

. >> i'm michelle griego. time now is 5:00. let's get a look at weather and traffic. lawrence? >> yeah, good morning, guys. we have some great weather coming our way as we get ready for the weekend. summer making a return am we're going to crank those temperatures up starting today. still, we do have a couple of patches of fog if you are headed out the door but not that much most every that out toward the coastline. so as we head in toward the afternoon, these temperatures really going to heat up. right now, mostly clear out over the bay bridge at this hour. the temperatures running in the 50s and a couple of 60s well inland. i think though as we head in toward the afternoon though these temperatures going to get hot in spots as high as 94 in livermore today. 90 in napa. about 85 in sa

i'm michelle griego. a severed human foot was discovered in an old running shoe on san francisco's ocean beach. a beach patrol found the foot yesterday. there was no sign of the rest of the victim's body. a man is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. witnesses say they heard a loud crash and found the man in the street. it happened just before midnight as the man was trying to cross the street at broadway. stay with us. traffic and weather in just a moment. >>> good morning. there were two bothers open westbound 24. there were power issues earlier. but everything is back to normal heading westbound towards the caldacot. clogged up. southbound 680 jammed and westbound 24 very heavy through lafayette. there was an earlier traffic alert fremont southbound 880. that accident has long since cleared. the delays extend into san leandro on the southbound 880 ride. quick check of other busier drive times. the east shore freeway 51 minutes on westbound 80. that is traffic. here's lawrence. >> patc
