thank you, supervisor campos, for mentioning my thought today. once the advocates and artists are gone, who will be left in our city? this is the heart and soul. >> thank you, next speaker, thank you, miss upton. >> i am beverly naylor, i am a musician, as is my husband, and we mentor youth in music in the neighborhood. we also open our home up every morning to a bris, we've been doing that for 12 years, many of them are here today, some of them have elected to come and stand with us. so i feel that we are really community activists in soipl ways in terms of bringing people together. i know many people who are here in support of us and our buddhist community also face the fears that we do. every day since this has happened my husband and i when the mail comes, we're, like, who's going to come look at the mail? it's a very scary time. in particular i want to bring up the tic loophole is a real concern that i think is facing beverly and i in that the profit to be made by evicting us and then being able to sell our units as tic units is most likely

campos, supervisor campos. >> you can call me anything you like. thank you very much and again i would like to thank my colleagues for this item. another thing i wanted to ask mta and i had a couple of questions in terms of the gain here. i'm glad he's involved and talk together coalition which i think has some very good ideas. but, how do you define success with this pilot? you know to the extent that the idea is to move vehicles from one neighborhood to another, what's your definition of success? >> well, that's a very difficult question to answer, but i would answer it by saying, the residues of san -- residents of san francisco are the best to suggest how the vehicles impact their quality of life. if when we reach a point where there are very few complaints brought to our attention about the negative impact, i would surmise that those vehicles remaining are located to places that are less impactful. >> but you may have and i think that makes sense, but if what you are doing is basically moving vehicles from one neighborhood so you don't have co

seconded by supervisor campos, additional discussion, supervisor wiener? >> i'm not going the repeat the argument that is i made at the last hearing, i will not be supporting this motion. i think that, you know, this shows once again, first of all, in terms of all of the really awful stereotyping that we heard during the whole tic legislative process, trying to broad bush tic has speculators and other terms showing that once again that is not accurate. we have now our second appeal in a row from a low-income household, and so tenants are extremely diverse ranging from extraordinarily poor to middle income and upper income, the same is true of tic owners. i won't repeat the rational that i articulated last time. i do think that this appeal points to perhaps the desirability of having more flexibility in the fee deferral. i know it's not part -- we can't do that as part of this appeal in term of deferring the fee and the law is pretty clear about the extent to which the department of public works can grant a fee deferral, but we've heard the argument in the
