when i see polls taken of hillary clinton versus joe biden in the democratic race i've seen hillary clinton ahead by 30 40 50 points something like that. a sitting vice president to be that far behind somebody else i can't think of another example like this given those numbers, what is the draw to get joe bide biden into this race? >> firstly for me, steve, his commitment to the military as well as his 30 plus years experience as united states senator and vice president. what have we been seeing the past few months is momentum momentum momentum. the poll that you just quoted on top of that another poll came out, 33% of the people policied said they could support the vice president. he was polling 14, 15%. you do the math. it's an open game. the vice president, he has been doing his job. he has been vice president. >> do you think that hillary clinton -- i mean she started out, we said at the very beginning, never seen a front-runner like this before in either party. do you think she's not lived up to the expectations of a can dade? >> i don't think she has. in past weekend, we had -- some w

clinton? what were you hiding? >> well there's that and there are two other facets beyond that story. there is the foundation which works with hundreds of millions of dollars that i guess did business through that maybe we don't know. and former president doing speeches taking in millions of dollars. were they all connected? we'll never know. >> as you remember you had me on when this first broke. i told you at the time that there was democrats very close to the clintons folks i've known for years that told me follow the money. there may be a connection between the e-mail controversy and what then was an older controversy about the clinton foundation. are there any e-mail that's were deleted that may still be on the server if the server still exist that's have a connection to the foundation. you have to consider any e-mails about donors. i don't know. the problem is we may never know and now there is this lack of trust. it may not show up on the polls. steve may be right. they may say i'm not

clinton is having an impact? >> you know, rev, let me just take a step back for a min and tell you, we're very concerned about what happened here. not only was it -- it was flat-out wrong and a very serious charge to suggest there was a criminal inquiry which turned out to be wrong and it took several days before we finally got the whole thing unraveled and the paper sort of started to make changes last week and over the weekend. and then early this week finally admitted the wrongdoing. here's what i'd say. i think this whole issue is becoming very politicized. i think what we're seeing here, we've seen a pattern where information has been released and leaked, if you will, and then it's based on partial information, the next day more information comes out that actually disputes the initial information, then we find out the truth and then, you know, as the public editor said, then the first story is definitely still out there. so we have grave concerns about that, obviously, and the politicization that we're seein

in virginia 39% trust clinton. 55% don't. in colorado 34% say she is not honest and trust worthy. 62% say they don't trust hillary clinton. bernie sanders trustworthy numbers look way better but people need more information on the candidate from vermont. in iowa. in virginia. voters trust sanders 43% to 17% and 40% are undecided. in colorado the numbers are 41% trust sanders and of course 24% don't. 35% need more information. what does this poll show? the poll shows a huge opportunity for sanders to overtake clinton. meanwhile, when you put hillary clinton up against republicans, it is pretty much more trouble. jeb bush has the lead on clinton in iowa virginia virginia and colorado. walker also leads on clinton in all three states. he's up 9 points in colorado 8 in iowa. rubio beats clinton in all three states. by 8 in colorado and iowa. we should point out sanders i does a little better against republicans in these states. this poll means clinton clearly had works to do. you could make the case she's not connecting with the
