kimberly eiten spoke with the investigators. they have been out several hours investigating this. >> reporter: police said in a few -- about one hour ago there are no outstanding suspects. they cannot say who shot home. they found to go met with fatal gunshot wound on the corner of comstock and capen what you can see police tape this morning. the other man was found behind this white and green home. police cannot tell us how they are related or what may have 911 calls came in reporting multiple gunshot. investigators have one block of comstock taped off as they try to trace the trajectory of the bullets and search for clues to give them indication into what happened in the moments before the shooting. i asked if anyone was in the house that appears to be at the center of the investigation and police could not say. officers are not searching for any person at this time. they are calling it an isolated incident. police and the joint homicide investigation team will be out here looking for evidence. the lieutenant i spoke with on s

i'm kimberly mcbroom. i'm garrett turner. and i'm leo hirsbrunner. skies turn partly sunny today with a high around 47. we'll see 60s by the warmer weather has been a welcome change, as the deep freeze of the last few days begins to thaw. while we saw more pavement and better driving conditions, thousands of people in central and western virginia are still dealing with power outages. the storm moved on, and made way for blue skies, bright sun and a beautiful winter landscape. as the ice began to melt, the power outages lingered. applachian power crews were on the job, assessing the damage and attacking the problems they found but the layer of ice brought down many tree limbs and power lines in neighborhoods throughout the area, including roanoke's raleigh court. aleta delaplane: actually at 3:45 we woke up to a transformer exploding. it was big green arc light in the back. it was amazing. it was kind of cool. and then the power went out. and then it came back on. and then it went out again, so i think we've been without power since 6:45 this morning.
