let's turn to karen rogers and dave murphy for more on that. good morning. >> let's get you right to the weather center. this morning we have issues out there and more issues coming later tonight. there's a winter storm watch in effect in all those counties you see highlighted in pink right now and they are basically the coastal counties. farther inland, though, some of these lightly shaded blue counties are also in an advisory. that would include burlington county and areas right up to the delaware river in south jersey also central delaware. so, later this evening in through thursday we're looking at the potential of snow that could pile up enough to give you real travel problems. in closer to philadelphia we're also looking at slippery conditions potentially for the morning commute. ahead of all of this you see plenty of sunshine. cloud cover will be digging in a little bit later on especially from the south. you can see it sort of riding up through the carolinas right now and that's because of that approaching coastal low pressure center. t

meteorologist, karen rogers, joins us on the terrace with accuweather. back to reality. >> spring was nice for a few days and temperatures in the 50s and two days of temperatures in the 60s. now it feels like january. lets look at satellite and radar. it's hard to see but we see breaks in the clouds and feels better out here now with some of that sunshine and you see a good amount of cloud cover through the region. and the temperatures have not gone far. 40 in bethlehem and 39 in pottstown and 44 in long wood and 40 in media, and 43 in center city. and they will stay in the low 40s today. 42 in browns mills and 45 in vineland and 45 in vinelan and fortescue. we have a 22 miles per hour wind gust in philadelphia. although the temperature is 43 the windchill is 35 in the city. and even colder than that in some of the other places like reading and millville where it feels barely above freezing now. it's winter time. here is what is looks like for the next 12 hours, temperatures hold in the low 40s and clouds and sunny breaks here and there. and not full sun
