we're only looking at highs here in santa rosa reaching 65 degrees. up to 72 in concord. it will be warmer away from the coast and some of those areas that aren't yet seeing that rain moving in. but here is a look at that storm system. and it's ar to move into much of northern california. it will continue to spread its way into the rest of the bay area going into the late morning, early afternoon hours. right now, as we see that rain moving through ukiah, it's also now raining in santa rosa, parts of marin county. this will continue to spread over napa and fairfield within the next hour or so. as we get a closer look, we can see that most of this is light rain. if you go up in some of those hills, it looks like it's raining a lot more heavily. that's what we're seeing from the hills looking over towards santa rosa where some rain continues to fall at this hour. it's really nice to see this rain, especially after having such dry weather and those hot temperatures that we had toward the end of last week. this is going to possibly help slow down the onset of that fire season

saint in santa rosa and san francisco the high temperature was unusually warm for late may, 81 degrees which was 10 degrees off the record high. current temperatures, 64 half moon bay, 68 degrees at sfo, it is 100 degrees in concord and 102 degrees in fairfield. a lot of 90s on the map. if you have outdoor stuff on the agenda this evening, wait for the sun to dip lower and temperatures drop off somewhat. we don't fall that far overnight, most temperatures end up in the 60s by early wednesday morning which is substantially above normal for this time of your comical spots dipping to the 50s. the winds pick up as we head through the day tomorrow, not that strong to start the day. watch what happens as we head toward noon, the onshore breeze will be accelerating which means temperatures will be several degrees cooler around the bay. you will feel along the coast with temperatures dropping back to what is normal for this time of year, still 10 degrees above normal in the city, 15 to 20 degrees above normal for the east bay and far inland, 20 degrees or more. triple digit character, upper 70

in fact where we are right now, we're already at 73 degrees in santa rosa and in concord. we're at 70 degrees in livermore. and just keep in mind that a normal high temperature is about 72 degrees. and as we look at where we are compared to yesterday at this time, just a little bit warmer. once again, the biggest warming comes tomorrow. so we're seeing that the most right now in the north bay, where santa rosa is about seven degrees warmer compared to 24 hours ago. and then as we go into that forecast for our high temperatures today, we're looking at a high of about 84 degrees in santa rosa. and normally we're up to 72 degrees. in concord, up to 86. livermore reaching 84 degrees. in san jose we're going to see highs about 10 degrees above normal. and then as we go through this forecast, we'll see our highs up to 87 degrees in antioch. oakland will reach into the mid-70s, low 70s for san francisco. half moon bay, only 63 degrees. compare that to the upper 80s, so a wide range in temperatures across the bay area. i think we'll see the same thing again tomorrow, even as we he
