monday morning a san francisco chinatown favorite has closed its doors after nearly three decades in business saturday was the last day for operation for washington bakery and restaurant. the family owned. cafe was a chinatown staple for the last 27 years famous for its pineapple buns locals say they're sad to see it go. it's really bittersweet. my husband has been coming to this establishment since he was a kid. it's sad and i'm gonna miss all of this like home style cantonese cookie that here it's a testament to how much tradition is in chinatown and how much history we have. so it's means a lot to me that a bunch of customers came out early this morning too to do a one last sendoff for this restaurant. washington bakery and restaurant posted on instagram that it's lease was coming to an end. so the space was sold. it'll be taken over by hans. one-ton house known for its wonton soup. there's no word yet on when that will open. now we check in with mirologist francis ding lawson for a look at our weather. we know today is a good beach day. it's gonna be a beautiful beach day. here's

a new exhibit about bruce lee premiers this weekend in the city's chinatown neighborhood. it's called we are bruce lee, under the sky one family, debuting at the opening of the historical society of america on clay street. the exhibit features art facts from the movie careers, teachings. we were with his daughter when she saw the exhibit for the first time in person. she told us what some of her favorite pieces are in the exhibit, and bruce lee partnered to make this happen. >> he's a bridge that helps bring people together and be such nan spration. so, that's what the bruce lee foundation is trying to do, put his tools and teachings in people's hands and be his message. the reason i got involved with my father's legacy at all, i personally have been inspired, i personally have been healed, been motivated by his life. by his teachings. by his message. one of the things i love is the mural. and i love it because, first of all, it's such a beautiful, current statement piece. it's been brought to life with the projection, with the music. it shows the legacy. there are bubbles
