well it's a philadelphia suburbs. it's the four collar counties right outside philadelphia here. these four counties are going to ultimately count for close than a quarter of the votes. right now i can show you. we got barely any from some of these counties. delaware county, a massive county. these are all the votes that have been candidates so far in the republican primary delaware county. these are the vote by mail. there is not many republicans who vote by mail. this is the vote by mail in delaware county. we are waiting in delaware county on the same day votes. they are gonna be tens of thousands of same day votes reported out here in delaware county. that looms large. similar story next door in chester county. again here, you see mostly mail ballots, a little bit of the same day here. but tens of thousands of votes still to come in chester county. basically, if you look at those four collar counties outside of philadelphia. they add up right now. there is 225,000 votes or so still to come. same day votes, from those counties right outside of philadelphia. if you look at that

philadelphia oz is doing better. it could be a chance for oz to pad his lead a little bit here in philadelphia. the final big variable here, and stop me if you heard the story, the mail in ballots. about 10,000 to 15,000 left. we're not sure of the exact number. those are being counted very, very slowly in counties across the state. the key on the mail in ballots is that mccormick, the pattern is mccormick is doing better than oz in the mail ballots. stuff counted since yesterday, mccormick is running seven points ahead of oz. if that holds, mccormick could make up ground. he could make up ground in allegheny county. oz could get a pad out of philadelphia. you just start playing with the numbers, extrapolating and you have a scenario where maybe at the best for mccormick, he leapfrogs oz and moves ahead by a couple hundred. the best for oz, he is able to pod his lead in philadelphia and stayed ahead by around 1,000 votes. that's basically the range we are looking at. no matter where that lands then when everything is

there are not a ton of republican voters in philadelphia. there are sp precincts where they haven't counted up the election day vote. talking about 800 or so votes on the republican side. you could see oz is actually been doing quite well in philadelphia. so whatever gets counted there in philadelphia, may actually end up benefiting oz a bit. those are the two places with out tanding day vote and what is left is the mail-in ballot and we think the number there is about 15,000 remaining now around the state. again, they are scattered in different counties. we think there is about 15,000 or so uncounted mail ballots. mccormick has been leading oz in the mail count. the ballots counted up yesterday, mccormick led oz by 7 points. that is main reason that he was able to eat into the oz lead. he's been out pacing him in the mail-in ballots. it is a trump endorsed candidate, in this case mehmet oz have been worse with the mail-in ballots than with the same day ballots. so the bulk of the votes to be counted here are mail-in ballots. mccormick has b

joining us now is the former republican philadelphia city commissioner al schmidt. al, great to see you here. obviously brian kemp the georgia fworner did not cooperate with donald trump and his efforts to overturn the georgia election results, as a result trump has endorsed his opponent. what do you see as being at stake in georgia? >> i think it's really remarkable because when the -- when governor kemp sort of defied then president trump's lies about the election in florida, i think everybody wrote him off for reelection and we're seeing something quite different. we not only have trump supporting perdue, which is no surprise, but we have pence supporting kemp, which is remarkable. and are really rallying around the kind of constitutional, traditional, conservative republican candidate in kemp and that not occurring for more populist trump-supported sarah palin supported candidate perdue. >> i wonder -- i know you're watching pennsylvania so closely, this republican primary that is so close to call and right now mehmet oz and dave mccormick obviously in the lead,

you know, charlie was mentioning before that the southeast philadelphia, southeast pennsylvania, philadelphia and the four surrounding counties are about 30% of the population. back this the '90s, they cast a third of the republican vote. well, i did a quick back of the envelope here tonight. it's only about 1/5 of the primary republican vote was cast in philadelphia and the four suburban counties tonight, which reflects the movement of those counties towards the democrats. we saw in ohio a few weeks ago the share of the vote cast in franklin, cuyahoga and hamilton counties, the three biggest counties in the state was significantly lower than it was 15 years ago in the republican primary. in north carolina tonight, wake and mecklenburg, whose inner suburbs was where republicans were born in the south cast only about 1/5 of the vote in the republican primaries. again, back to the envelope calculation. and what that means is all of these candidates are competing more for nonurban, increasingly noncollege, culturally conservative voters. and that has a magnetic pole on the entire republican fiel

down in the southeast, this greene county right here, that is the county and the city of philadelphia. there are a ton of votes here that have yet to be counted. number one populated county in the entire state out of 67. i was mentioning where you find votes in the state of pennsylvania. this is what pennsylvania did less than two years ago. joe biden, the official winner over donald trump by about 80,000 -- about 82,000 votes, in 2020, if you were to draw this -- a lot of times when you study the state of pennsylvania, you draw the t, take away the middle county here, and you can see the red counties across the top and the other red counties that fill in on the sides, and we have seen election after election, sean, the red counties get redder in pennsylvania and the blue counties get bluer. that includes pittsburgh over here, erie in the northwest, and also the area of philadelphia down here in the southeast. come back to real action in the senate race, okay, we are at 10% of the vote, sticking pretty much mccormick at 32.5 and oz at 26% at kathy barnette who really made a charge in

this right outside philadelphia. mccormick is leading. it's very close. oz is doing well here as well. there's a possibility that mccormick could make a little bit more in the way of inroads here. i wouldn't look for massive inroads out of delaware county either. a couple of places left here where there's precincts from election day vote that could allow mccormick to cut a little off of the lead. the ball game is now about the mail-in ballots. we have had some counties, chester county just outside philadelphia, for instance, that counted up a bunch of mail-in ballots this morning. reported them out. we think now the number now we think -- these estimates change a little bit. but we think it's about 20,000. it's about 20,000 mail ballots. take it with a grain of salt. about 20,000 mail ballots that remain statewide to be counted in this republican primary. a couple things are happening here. there are some counties that received mail ballots that were dropped off in person yesterday that have begun to count those and report those out. there are other place

they were the suburbs, right outside of the philadelphia. bucks county where you were just talking to vaughn, and delaware county, check this out, in 2016 if you look at the collar counties outside of philadelphia, hillary clinton won them, her margin was 188,000 votes. if you fast forward to 2020, joe biden won them look at how much bigger that margin was. a 293,000 votes. so basically biden gained 105,000 votes, net of 105,000 votes in the philadelphia suburbs. remember, it was a change of 125,000 that flipped the state. he got almost all of it. he got like 80% of it from growth in the philadelphia suburbs. so what democrats hope, what republicans fear, is that if republicans put up doug mastriano and barnette, that that will be a bridge too far and keep pennsylvania in the democratic column in 2022. >> and what are you going to be looking for as we're trying to figure out early tonight when the polls close, how will you be able to figure out, is there any particular counties you're going to where you're looking at doctor oz versus kathy b
