our breaking news out of san leandro where hospitals on a partial lockdown after a suspect shot security guard during an armed robbery. that happened shortly before noon right outside of the kaiser permanente. san leandro medical or said street police say that an armored car gar was collecting money from the hospital and he was exiting the building and then someone shot him. the gunman then stole a bag of money they say and ran off. this is according to police, the guard was then rushed to another hospital nearby and is said to be in critical condition. police say they're still investigating. this is an ongoing situation and they have not caught the suspect. this is what a spokesperson told kron four's terisa stasio. we'll get that to you in just a moment. but certain areas of the hospital are still on lockdown as a precaution. however, police to say that this was an isolated incident and that there's no threat to the area. let's hear now what the hospital had to say. >> you can't even describe it. i'm not going do this. family and injustice by, you know, explaining how scientists it is.
