this may grow this fire to the southeast of fairfield through tonight. improving wind conditions coming our way. that smoke is impacting oakland, san francisco, and a good section of the bay. let's take you to live chopper video. they're continuing to battle these embers. they blow to another location and keep this fire spreading. even though we don't have a lot of trees in this location, it is a very tough fight for these firefighters. the next six to eight hours will be the most crucial hours to keep this from spreading to any homes nearby. embers have been known to pick up and travel 15 to 20 miles. it's been a tough year for firefighters so far. that smoke is visible with air quality advisories into effect. here's a look from emeryville towards oakland. what you'll see here is haze back towards the hill. not too thick in downtown, but you can smell it out there in the air. temperatures in the mid 80s for the most part. saturday, it is going to be warming up in the south bay and east bay. 85 in dublin. 73 in pacifica. 75 in san francisco. let's get a
