check out the 39 in novato. and contrast that up toward the delta. 50 there. 45 in concord and numbers around the livermore valley dropping into the low 40s. we are cool ehrhoff than we were yesterday due to the clear sky and the calm winds. in fact, 7 degrees cooler in livermore this morning and much of the north bay. certainly feeling like fall with those nights much, much longer. and the sun angle is definitely lower. we aren't looking at such strong solar radiation. as a result, kind of tough to burn back the low clouds and fog this time of year. but we will and we will look for a nice afternoon. but a little warmer tomorrow. a ridge of high pressure moves over the bay area and it's going to stay with us and allow for increasing temperatures called beach weather through a good portion of next week. we have one more disturbance, though, that is allowing for the low clouds and fog and the cool averages. winds a little bit breezy along the coast. take a look what happens for the week ahead in oakland. it's been

so this morning temperatures are falling in novato at 41 degrees, i'm forecasting 39 degrees in novato before the morning is done. san jose, we've dipped into the 40s as well, so might be one of those mornings if you have not had to yet, move the heater in the south bay. a quarter mile visibility. up in santa rosa now, napa is dropping off, we expect the thickest fog by about 7:00 to 8:00. by 9 to 10 we should see a lot of improvement. you can see that here, mostly sunny conditions right around 10:00 a.m. so we're looking really good there. a nice warming trend. as we get into the upcoming weekend. temperatures are going to climb nicely so 74 today. mid 80s as we head through next week. it's going to be nice around here. but remember, if you want to hit the beach you get some of the best weather in october, early october. 69 degrees in santa cruz, 69 in san francisco and better as we get into this weekend. our days are getting shorter, though, our mornings will be cooler and the beach weather not as good as we get into the end of the month. speaking of something that's great to check o
