good evening, everyone, i'm ted greenberg. that chaotic scene unfolded on a busy street in the middle of the afternoon. nbc 10's andrea cline-thomas is live in upper darby with how the victims are doing. >> reporter: well, i want you to first notice, just how busy 69th street is out here. in fact, there's been a kids' event all day at the theater. that woman and her grandchild, 6 years old, they were crossing this crosswalk right here when they were hit. >> we saw a guy on a dirt bike riding down the street extra fast. >> reporter: paris marshal hall and her co-workers anticipated the crash by how reckless the operator was driving the dirt bike. the grandmother and grandchild were crossing the street in upper darby. >> the little girl wasn't moving at all. she was just staying near, the mom was bleeding, trying to get to the child to see if she was okay. >> reporter: the driver of the dirt bike kept going and crashed. then police say he got up and carjacked another driver at knife point. then took off in the stolen car. >> he
