gloria rodriguez, abc seven news.ria rodriguez, abc >> thank you. gloria. friends and family of a livermore father deported by ice to mexico last weekend are demanding he be brought home. miguel lopez was taken to tijuana. hours before a federal judge ordered immigration officials to keep him in the country. last week, more than 200 protesters held a rally in downtown livermore. lopez was detained by ice officials during a routine check in at an ice office in san francisco. >> saturday's protests in downtown los angeles led to 35 arrests. police clashed with people in an attempt to break the crowd ahead of an 8 p.m. curfew, and they imposed a dispersal order at around 4 p.m, used tear gas and crowd control measures as well. most of the arrests were for curfew violations. lapd reports. three officers were injured and this morning we are working to learn if waymo still has a no go zone in parts of san francisco. over the weekend, the company modified routes to ignore parts of downtown and other nearby neighborhoods due to the anti ice protests. at least one w

abc seven news.com. new developments pro-palestinian activist mahmoud khalil hopes of being freed on bond were dashed by a federal judge. the trump administration filed new papers arguing that they could continue detaining khalil under the claim that he misrepresented himself on his green card application. yesterday, a u.s. district judge denied khalil's bond request, saying that the former columbia university student had not yet proven he was being held illegally. under this new argument, khalil was detained on march 8th over his participation in pro-palestinian demonstrations. in the city of oakland. will the city of oakland may have found a new way to ease its budget deficit? the proposal involves modernizing billboards scattered throughout the city. the city council is considering turning some of the billboards into digital advertisements. abc seven news reporter anser hassan explains how the idea could bring in millions into the city. >> oakland's many billboards may have different messages, but the

abc seven news reporter zach fuentes is live in livermore. with what you should know, zach. >> yeah. good morning to you and new this morning. we are seeing that there looks to be a power shut off in a part of east contra costa county, a more remote part. we're just finding that out as we're coming on air this morning. and these shutoffs are potential for them here in alameda county and santa clara county. also, these shutoffs are precautionary, could impact up to around 1000 customers. and in years past, these public power shutoffs, safety shutoffs used to impact large areas of the bay area. but now, p-g-and-e's says it is working to minimize the impacts to customers. it says this is precautionary and that all of this is considered because of high winds and dry conditions. >> things like dry conditions, windy conditions, vegetation on the ground that make us really concerned for the possibility of a catastrophic wildfire. so if we see enough of those factors come together, we'll turn off the power proactively. >> now, in the counties facing
