what are you hearing on capitol hill about security concerns? >> yeah, lawmakers were really rattled by these horrific shootings. not only were some of the members personal friends with the victims, but as you mentioned, there were a substantial number of lawmakers whose names were also on the hit list. so this really hits close to home for a lot of members here on capitol hill. now, over the past few days, lawmakers have been receiving security briefings from the capitol police, including one this morning in the senate. and i'm told during that meeting, lawmakers took turns sharing their experiences dealing with violent threats, something that has been on the rise for members of congress and politicians over the past few years. and during that meeting, they also agreed on both sides of the aisle that more needs to be done to ensure their safety. here's chuck schumer, the senate democratic leader, talking about that. >> we need to take immediate steps. to ensure the. >> safety of members. that includes sending additional funding and resources to
