even in livermore valley, we're doing okay for the month of june. let's take a look at the seven day forecast, and we will start inland with those temperatures reaching farther into the 80s. don't really kick in until a week from today, tuesday of next week. between now and then, it's a mix of upper 70s and low 80s, generally running at least a couple degrees below normal temperatures around the bay, also couple degrees below normal, which does let us sneak up into the mid to upper 60s. a little bit of sunshine peeking through those clouds every day, but it won't take long for the fog to spread back out every evening. more of a warm up with more sunshine by next tuesday. and at the coast, well, you might have to wait until next tuesday to see any substantial amount of sunshine, so temperatures will have to struggle to hit 60 degrees each afternoon. once we do see a bit more sunshine peeking through those coastal clouds, that's when we have a better chance of getting up into the mid 60s. by tomorrow afternoon. >>just wait by the coast, wait for that

otherwise, i'm going to block livermore in the tri-valley and antioch, and you can pick out your numbersre. 80 for those warmest spots. santa rosa might stop shy there in the mid 70s. napa goes to 77, probably top out right around 80 for the daytime high in san jose. you know what these numbers are. these numbers are exactly what you've been doing now for just about four days straight. there is no change to that. so let's go to seven day forecast and see if there will be a change. we'll start out with our inland microclimate, which shows us there will not plenty of sunshine here. and we're staying at 80. this has to be a very welcome forecast for this time of year. start getting into june. these numbers are average. if we could just do average all summer, we would be incredibly lucky and blessed to do that, because this is the time of year when we can see some pretty significant spikes in heat. early in mid june is prime time for that. and we don't have it. it's not showing up, not in this seven day forecast. and that's good. and the way we've been thinking about that is there's twofold

we head to one of our warmer spots in the inland valleys, livermore.ake a look at what to expect throughout the week, it starts out warm. but once again, we're going to be on a cooling trend. saturday is going to be our coolest day with a high of 74 degrees, and i know not too far from there, we're getting ready for the alameda county fair, so it looks like it's going to be a great weekend for that, with highs in the mid to upper 70s for the inland areas after starting out a little warm, but once again very normal temperatures for our second week in june. and we'll see temperatures in the upper 60s for san francisco. not a lot of surprises right now, mike. right, exactly. traffic flow is pretty predictable with the backup at the bay bridge. i do have one thing going on as you're heading over the hill in the south bay, so stick around for that. we're looking at highway interstate 80 as we're looking at a smoother drive with the backup that was bunched up on the incline, kind of backed off to where it typically is now, out of the gates, getting up to whe

you follow that number from the 97 that you've got and walk that down to the tri valley, you're pretty close. livermore is pretty close there. it was better in the santa clara valley, but you were still two degrees shy of 90 in san jose today. these numbers are coming down tomorrow. let me show you what's going to happen. we'll take a look at the clouds that are just sitting right off the coast. and there's a beautiful showing of the marine layer out here now. so if we match the daytime highs with the last few hours of the marine layer, which is now just kind of been beaten back to the golden gate, in fact, if you take a look up here, you can see what it looks like from the vantage point of ... hill as it was streaming in over the city and alcatraz, there was a beautiful like runway clouds that is about to fill back in for the entire bay. so let me just leave you with that for now. here's how your sunday will be different. the marine layer will fill in more of the bay tomorrow. watch it. contour pretty much the entire bay here. you can see it's even got the south bay down there. i don't think it necess
